Jumper Catfish Pimelodus Celestis 12cm "Discover the captivating Jumper Catfish (Pimelodus Celestis), an enchanting addition to any freshwater aquarium. Originating from the rivers of South America, these active and social catfish exhibit stunning iridescent shades along their sleek bodies. Feeding on a varied diet of pellets, live, or frozen foods, these omnivores readily accept most offerings, making their care straightforward. Their peaceful demeanor suits community tanks, but they appreciate the company of their kind or other non-aggressive species. While generally peaceful, caution is advised with smaller tankmates, as the Jumper Catfish might mistake them for prey. Their moderate size and manageable temperament make them suitable for intermediate aquarists comfortable with maintaining stable water conditions. Maintain their habitat with temperatures between 72°F to 78°F (22°C to 26°C), a pH level of 6.5 to 7.5, and soft to moderately hard water.
